Some people can some people can't. Try a 128kbps and a 192kbps mp3 and see if you can tell the difference. Now try 256kbps and/or 320kbps and then the CD and if you can tell a difference here without have to analyze for hours, then your ears sir are god like.

I'll assume you are using windows, if so you should be able to right click and select properties. It should say in there. If not, it might tell you in Windows Media Player if you select it as a view.
